Toranil™ BH (Desugared Calcium Lignosulfonate)

Toranil™ BH (also known as lignin) is primarily the calcium salt of lignosulphonic acid.  It is a spray dried powder sold in 50 lb. multiwall bags.

Lignin is used as a surface-active material with wide applications as a dispersant.  It is used in the tanning industry, in the formulation of adhesives, as a chelating agent and as a chemical raw material.  It is also an excellent binder when used in pelleted feed and refractory industries.  It is also used in ceramics, concrete, brick and foundry cores.
